Import PDF Comments not working correctly for Tables.
PDF comment import not working accurately on tables
- ID 14 Mac
- Import PDF comments to layout including simple 2-column tables in which an entire row is marked as deleted/struck through
- Expected that the entire row would be deleted upon acceptance of edit via PDF Comments palette
- In fact Accepting edit only deletes the contents of the first cell of the row, leaving the orphaned data behind.

Copy in Indesign layout is menu clicked "All Caps". PDF comments does not work. Only when copy is set to normal
When my copy in Indesign layout is menu clicked "All Caps" from tool bar or Character menu. I make a change request in the PDF. Like "remove" a word. Then Import the PDF comments. Accept does not work. The only time it works is if the copy is set to regular copy or if you type the copy in "All Caps". No menu changes.

PDF Comments not hiding
PDF Comment import does not hide comments on the layout after the Hide Comments on Layout button is pressed.
The following is the process I followed:
- Displayed the PDF Comments pane in InDesign.
- Imported comments from PDF's.
- Selected the Hide Comments on Layout Button in the PDF Comments pane.
* Comments are hidden from view.
- Leave the InDesign window
- Return to InDesign, and some of the comment boxes are shown, some are not shown, and some are partially shown (the box is cut in half).
- Move cursor over the Show Comments on Layout button.…5 votes
