InDesign crashes after making changes to the document after exporting to pdf
InDesign exports to PDF fine. But after looking the pdf over, I usually want to make changes. Making any more than about five changes to an InDesign document after exporting it to PDF will make InDesign crash, regardless of what those changes are. It's happening on every single document since the latest update.

Crash on Importing Large Word File
InDesign v17.4
macOS 12.6 Monterey
Mac Studio (2022)InDesign is crashing on importing a large (859-page) Word .docx file. The document begins to import for a couple of seconds but then InDesign crashes and there is a 'may be damaged' warning on reopening the file.
Attempts were made to import into a completely new document and multiple variations of import settings have been tried, as has resaving, duplicating and deleting comments and saving the Word file. Smart Text Reflow has also been turned off but this hasn't helped.

Switching between Cross Reference "Link To" types causes Crash

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1185G7 @ 3.00GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)- New Hyperlink Destination: saved a Text Anchor (paragraph includes a graphic so I don't want to use the Cross Reference > Link To Paragraph option in this instance.)
- Cross-References palette hamburger
- Insert Cross-Reference...
- Change Link To from Paragraph to Text Anchor and it crashes. (I want to use Cross Reference instead of Hyperlink so it will include dynamic page number.)

SmartStream crash
We are experiencing an issue where InDesign v21 will crash while we are using HP SmartStream Designer. This occurs when we start creating an imposed job, and will fail at different times with our templates. We notice this occurs predominately with the 6x9 postcard template.
This happens often enough to where we are hesitant to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign, as we are not having this issue with v19. We have tried remaking the template file, which did not fix the issue. Is this a known bug? What steps would be best for us to try next?

crash split layout view
InDesign (randomly) crashes when copying/pasting from one view to the other in split layout view.
At this time I'm working on a Windows 10 machine with InDesign 17.3 installed, but I've had this isue already for years, going back to InDesign 14. The problem occured also on Mac machines with Sierra and Catalina installed.I can't timely reproduce the issue, it happens randomly, but always with split layout view in use. Only today InDesign crashed already 7 times while I was working in split layout view.

Keep Getting an error code 205 when launching InDesign
Bonjour,
Depuis ma dernière mise à jour InDesign 17.3 le code erreur 205 s’affiche, j’ai essayé de le désinstaller, réinstaller… Mais rien à faire. J’ai donc suivi les instructions d’Abobe par rapport au code erreur 205 mais toujours la même chose. Après avoir insisté j’ai enfin réussi à ouvrir InDesign, tout fonctionnait bien. Mais quand j’ai redémarré mon ordinateur je ne pouvais plus utiliser InDesign (code erreur 205).Aujourd’hui même en téléchargeant la version antérieure le code d’erreur 205 s’affiche au démarrage du logiciel Indesign. Le reste des logiciels eux fonctionne bien. opening an idml-file failes, ID is crashing without crashreporter
ID 17.2.1
MacOs 12.3.1
iMac (Retina 5K, 27 Zoll, Ende 2015)An IDML-file saved with ID 17.2.1 I can not open with ID 17.2.1 again.
ID is crahing and the Adobe/ID-crashreporter is not shown.
Only the MacOs-crashreport appers.I'd like to attach/upload this file as . idml and zipped as .zip, but the dialog shows something like "this format is not supported". I'm logged in. - Why that dos not work?

Indesign is unusable
Since the last update Indesign is barely usable. It crashes 10 times a day and with no explanation. Changing fonts, placing objects, updating graphics, all seem to cause it to crash. Suitcase is also causing problems with Adobe fonts which I can't seem to resolve. This is by far the worst update to Indesign that has come out. Forget adding new features, fix the problems with the program first so it is at least usuable.

InDesign 17.2 Export XML crashes
Adobe InDesign 17.2.0.20
macOS 12.3.1Upon exporting XML from an InDesign file, InDesign crashes. This does not happen with Adobe InDesign 17.1.0.50.

wrap shape
Every time I use "wrap around object shape" -- and it's a box or shape I've created within InDesign -- it crashed InDesign. Thankfully, it recovers well. If it's on an imported shape or something I actually draw with the pen too, it works as it should. But the crashing when it's a rounded rectangle is frustrating. I have to remember NOT to use it or do the keep aways differently.

Crash: Dynamic spelling with special word
There is a crazy bug: when the dynamic spellcheck is active (German, Duden) and you are typing in a text frame hintereinanderherschlichen (it’s a German word) indesign crashed immediately.
We don’t know why, but then, after the crash, and when the dynamic spell check is still active, InDesign crashes again when it tries to recover the document.

My InDesign crashes when I use the quick apply shortcut (command enter).
I use InDesign 17.1 2022 on M1 MacBook with macOS Monterey (all updated).
Any document I'm working with, when I hit cmd+enter for quick apply, InDesign crashes. I've been sending crash reports but haven't got any feedback yet.

Safe a file or .PDF with MacOS Monterey 12.3
Updated my iMac (late 2015) to MacOS Monterey 12.3. now i can't safe a Adobe file and can't make a .PDF file…!
i can't work like this! have to put an older iMac version on it again…

Home Welcome Screen Blank After Update on all Apps
After the recent set of updates, Indesign does not show the welcome screen. When i try to create a new document (CNTRL+N, File>New>Document) the app hangs and i have to restart the app. I am able to open existing files, but not create new ones. Worked around the problem by selecting "Use Legacy New Document Dialog", but i would like to get my home/Welcome screen back.
OS: Windows 10
Indesign Version: 17.1PS: having the same issue on Ilustrator and Photoshop, although those two apps dont hang

links buttons causes crash
Adobe InDesign 2022 ver 17.1
Trying to fix a link but when I hit the links button, the whole program crashes. Sent a report every time.
Have rebooted computer, restarted computer, uninstalled/reinstalled InDesign with no luck.
It just shuts down and wants to send a report. I have tried to recover, not recover, and cancel. Still no resolution.1 vote -
Crashes when I try to export
InDesign 17.1 - Today something happend with my InDesign and I can't export anything anymore as it gives me this problem like in the two images. And it doesn't matter if I click on the ok or not, it simply closes. And when I try to open InDesign again, the loading screen appears and then crashes and closes. InDesign will not work with documents downloaded from Google Drive.
InDesign 17.1 does not display images in documents downloaded from Google Drive, which was previously my regular work process. The list of images in "Links" does not show any alerts that any image is missing. When I re-link an image, it does display in the document, but the program does not automatically re-link any of the other images in the same folder.

Updated to Monterey 12.2, menu freezes, indesign crashes,
Indesign went crazy after this update
When i select multiple objects and try to short key COPY or CUT... Indesign crashes
I can't one-click my menu navigation, I have to double click in order for the drop down to appear and then it freezes and wont go away + i can't access any sub menu as well.
