1. Find/Change bug in Indesign 13.1.1

   Text Find/Change seems to have a bug: let's suppose we have 2 paragraph styles, for example a title style and a body text style. In the document I received from our partner sometimes the body paragraphs wear the title style and they were manually overridden to look like the body style. To fix this error I tried to search for texts that has the title style but the font used is that of the body style. Indesign Finds something at the beginning of the body paragraph (a thin cursor-like thing can be seen there: it is the selected something) that is - as Indesign states - of the title style. But as you can see on the screenshot it is definitely not of the title style.

   In grep Find/Change the problem doesn't exist.

2. Incopy 2019 cannot open icap file created by ID 2019

   .icap files created with ID 2019 cannot be opened with IC 2019 with error message „An error occured while opening the file.“ Tested on Mac OS X 10.12.6.

   The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update 14.0.2 of InDesign 2019.
   If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
   Once the update button is shown against InDesign, click on the button to update to Id 14.0.2.

3. indd 14.0.3 - mojave os FONTS ARE GONE FROM MY DOC

   indd 14.0.3 - mojave os - working until 7 last night, very slow but working. this morning at 5am took long time to open program, once the doc finally opened all the fonts were missing. creative cloud box says "...uses fonts that are currently unavailable on your computer." "Adobe Fonts could not find any matching fonts." I know the fonts are enabled, but still updated Font Explorer to a newer version then restarted. no luck. same message

5. Missing Font error after upgrading

   After the upgrading to cc 2019 , the older fonts which were installed in machine is giving missing font error, every time i have to sync the fonts. I am using windows 10 standard edition. Here is the screen shot of the error.

6. Keyboard shortcut no longer works after CC2014 - always works before this version

   Assigning a keyboard shortcut to 'Baseline options' does not work from CC2015 onwards. (CS3 to CC2014 assigning a shortcut does work).

   If you go to 'Edit > Keyboard shortcuts > Product Area: Object Menu > Baseline Options' and add a keyboard shortcut for this, it does not work from CC2015 onwards no matter what key combination you use for the shortcut. However, CC2014 downwards it always works.

7. table formatting

   Menu for formatting Table 'alternate row' shading, doesn't make sense — it gives options for 'Every other row' and 'Every second row'. To me those are redundant.

8. Aperçu des séparations - COULEUR REPERAGE

   Dans la palette Aperçu des Séparation, il faudrait une coche pour masquer ou afficher les objet utilisant la teinte repérage.
   En effet il est très difficile de vérifier si un document contient accidentellement une teinte non désirée, car la teinte repérage peux masquer certains détails, comme par exemple un petit objet jaune quadri dans un document imprimé contenant plusieurs tons directs dont le jaune P109.

9. create outlines

   v 14.02
   In previous versions, when creating outlines, the newly converted text could simply be ungrouped and the "letters" could be moved and manipulated independently. Now the function is creating each line as a graphic with the only option of releasing compound path to separate the letters. This is hugely inconvenient in a larger block of text. Is this a bug or some new function/option that can be changed? Thanks!

10. type kits

    The option to have Adobe typekits is not showing up on any of my CC applications. I have the latest version of the CC subscription, however I no longer have the option to get adobe type kits.

11. no opening screen

    When ID opens there is no splash screen. I have to click the task bar icon for a small box to appear top left of screen. Then I have to repeat and only then can I drag it open across the screen.

    Additionally the man splash scree has an endless loading animation of the rotating circle. Nothing loads into it. However once I have overcome the initial boot so far the version is usable, albeit with some functions not responding to keyboard shortcuts.

12. Ctrl + Tab Keyboard Shortcut Bug

    I tried to assign "Ctrl"+"Tab" to "Window Next" (to get the same shortcut as OS-default) but Indesign seems not to do anything when hitting this shortcut. When assigning other shortcuts to the same action it works.

13. Indesign CC 2015

    When editiing text and applying styles using the eyedropper tools some users in my production team are using the colour theme tool by accident.

    This is then applying the rich black colour swatch to pages that should only be using true black. Can you change the default colour to true black or allow the default colour to be changed.

    Alternatively could you add a feature to customise the toolbar so you can remove/add tools that you want.

14. Variable chapter number

    The variable 'chapter number' gives a problem, wherever it is used it is represented as '1'.
    Because chapter numbers and paragraph numbers are not included in the Continuous header, it is useful if it can be displayed separately.
    Is it possible to include this numbering in the variable in the future (as an option)?

15. Problems with zoom on tablets wacom

    The Zoom function (Zoom In and Zoom Out) made with two fingers directly on the Wacom tablet (in my case an Intuos Pro L) or made using the Wacom Touch Ring tablet still does not work in InDesign, for a long time, with different versions of InDesign and with different operating systems (OS Mavericks - Sierra-High Sierra and now also Mojave ...).
    All this is very frustrating, because it eliminates a very important function for those who have to paginate!
    On all other programs (Illustrator, Photoshop and competition programs - Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher Beta) it works regularly: I have already reported this bug on other occasions and every time there is an InDesign update I hope this problem will be finally solved but REGULARLY, for years now, I am disappointed every time, because the problem continues to exist: please, adobe, DO YOU WANT TO SOLVE IT ONCE AND FOR ALL, since every year I spend a lot of money for your subscription? Or do you want me TO DEFINITELY SWITCH TO AFFINITY APPS that cost a lot less and at least work properly?
    I'm waiting for an answer from adobe, THANKS!

16. panels / windows won't open, InDesign doesn't launch 80% of the time

    Honestly wasn't sure what to file this under. I am running the latest version of InDesign (version 14.0.2). About 4/5 times when I click to launch InDesign, it bounces for several minutes and then nothing happens... and then it stops bouncing and the dot under the app also goes away, yet the app says its open - still no windows. Eventually - usually after about 10-15 minutes of waiting - I have to right click, quit, and start again.

    But this is the part that really bothers me: When it finally does open properly and loads a document, many of the panels just will not open even after I select them from the menu. Most of the time I can't open any windows or panels within the app. And I NEED to be able to open the glyphs and corner options panels, but I haven't been able to open them for over a month, and I use this program on a nearly daily basis. Additionally, the color picker tool within the color popup does not work, but the regular tool within the toolbar does. I also have issues with the align and distribute options appearing and disappearing from the top bar. The options disappear after selecting an object, changing windows or navigating to a different app momentarily, and they will not reappear unless I click the gear icon of the panel and confirm the options again. Sometimes this doesn't work and then I have to quit and reopen the whole thing again.

    I'm running Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6. I am going to have to uninstall and rollback to the 13.1 version of InDesign for now because I have clients waiting and I need to turn stuff over faster, but if more information is needed I can reinstall. Never had this issue in the 2018 version, but it's been a regular occurrence in the past few updates.

    Could you please try reinstalling InDesign application after clearing up(or renaming) your preferences and cache for InDesign 2019(14.0).
    If you still face the issue after doing the above, please share with us some screenshots and(or) small video demonstrating the problem.

17. 'Remember last export format' still not working

    I posted a bug report on this a while back but I can't find it now.

    This feature still isn't functioning for us.

    InDesign only remembers the format of the last file exported.

    So I just exported an InDesign file as a JPEG, and then when I returned to a file I worked on an hour ago, that I last exported as a PDF, the 'remembered' last export format is JPEG.

    So NOTHING is being remembered across individual files at all.

    This would be a great feature if we could get it working, but it simply doesn't work. Deleting preferences and Saved data files got it working briefly, but it reverts to not working within minutes.

    We're up-to-date with InDesign and running our Macs on Sierra 10.12.6

    I posted a bug report on this a while back but I can't find it now.

18. Links panel

    When you highlight a link in the document, it used to highlight the corresponding image in the links panel, so you could easily edit or replace, instead of having to scroll through the links panel trying to identify the asset from the thumbnail. A minor workflow thing but it makes a difference. Would love to have this feature back in.

19. Can't press 'Done' in Adobe Comp after adding columns and guides

    If I go to settings, add guides, I will not be able to get out of the settings as the done button does not work

    Worked with support and they are saying it is not a bug, but offered no further steps other than posting here

20. Applying a negative vertical scale actually increases item's height (and display wrong value)

    Just noticed that while you try to apply a negative vertical scale, item is actually enlarged in height. Also the vertical scale shows wrong value (says -100 instead of -125%)
    In my case, tried to apply -125% vertical scale
