InDesign 2018 as soon as its opened the CC Library panel pops up and starts flickering. If you try to do anything in ID it relocates the pointer to the library every few seconds. If you switch to a different program or browser other than ID it takes you back to ID within seconds to the library.
I've tried closing the panel but it just opens up again. I've restarted my machine a few times. Its always the same. It makes it pretty much unusable.

Folder shortcuts for scripts are not copied, updating to ID2017. In new version the shortcut is a folder and all scripts are COPIED there.
In InDesign, before ver. 2017, I had a folder shortcut in my InDesign scripts folder. It lead to another place, a subfolder under a folder where I've got SVN versioning. When upgrading to CC12.0 (ID2017), the shortcut was not copied. Instead all of the files were copied from the original location to the scripts folder of InDesign 2017. When upgrading the shortcuts should be copied, not the actual files! Extension on top of built-in modal messages can cause deadlock, windows blocking each other
InDesign's "modal" built-in dialogues can show up BEHIND third party extensions, if the extension is situated in the center of the screen. The extension window can not be moved before the window from InDesign has been handled (you may have to press OK or something like that), and that window is completely hidden. When this situation occurrs, you have to force InDesign to a quit.

indesign cc 2018 erratic display behaviour
Issues with linked images and vector shapes just going invisible and unselectable even though they are still in the links panel.
This bug makes it difficult to work, and leads to adding a huge number of linked images since I think they are not on the page.

Temp InDesign 2018 file
Temp InDesign 2018 file does not go away after closing ID file and trying to delete it, the Finder generates an error" -80" (?). By the way, what is the reason for such file to be visible at all? Why does the user even care to behold that file at all?

Adobe Templates - Title Blocks won't allow editing in Modern Media Kit Layout

Chic Media Kit LayoutI would like to use these Adobe templates, but the top title blocks will not allow editing. All of the other text box elements on the page react when you click on them, allowing you the opportunity to edit them. I can't seem to edit "YOUR TITLE HERE" or "MEDIA KIT 2017"
Am I missing something about how to properly edit the title blocks on those templates? I can't even click on it... no option to capture/click/highlight the "YOUR TITLE HERE" section.
Guidance is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

When I command+W and try to scroll up and down with the arrow keyes it takes forever and its inconstant. Basically its not working at all.
I just bought the new MacBook Pro 2017 with macOS Sierra 10.12.5.I restarted laptop and it continued to make the same.

Copying from Illustrator pastes with strange colors
I used to be able to do this with no problem: copy a vector from Illustrator into InDesign and it look the same. Now, when I paste a logo, say, a teal and yellow one, into InDesign, the teal turns red! I have color swatches created in the Illustrator file, but even when I haven't done that, I've never seen this happen before. I now have to import many vector images instead, which is a huge inconvenience.

Surface Pro 4 And Gestures
I have a new Surface Pro 4. When using Adobe applications, gestures on the touch pad (for example pinching or scrolling) either don't work or are really bugy with little control. I was told by Adobe that this is due to the detachable keyboard on the Surface Pro.

Scroll bars and status bar disappear in InCopy
InCopy scrollbars and status bar (page navigation) disappear and there doesn't seem to be an identifiable way of turning these back on. Working on a corporate device so cannot test the 'Run as administrator' fix that is suggested on another forum online.
Scrollbars and status bars are available on start up but disappear if you use the zoom tools, the device sleeps, or if you are active in another window (e.g. a browser) for some time (not sure precisely how long). Closing and reopening the program fixes the issue, but it is irritating to have to check in all stories,…

Inaccurate Type 1 Warning
This issue is purported to be fixed, but I'm still getting a false type one warning after upgrading to the last version of InDD 18. (18.5.2). The flagged font is Whitney Black, the only font out of the the entire OT Whitney family that's installed on my MacBook pro that gets flagged. Whitney Black also shows up twice on my font list, even though there is only one version installed and used in my stylesheets. The font is clearly OT in the replace font dialog box, does not trigger a preflight warning and exports fine to PDF.

Spellcheck isn't working. I have set my language to English, but no matter what I do it reverts to "Finnish" language.

iMac M3 gets very hot and uses excessive CPU while working with InDesign 2024, fan is constantly running
I am working on InDesign 2024 version with Apple iMac M3 processor, and as long as the InDesign window is open, even if I do not do anything, the iMac gets very hot and the fan is constantly running. This is not a normal situation at all.
I'm reporting this to the Adobe team for information. I noticed that InDesign did not have this problem when I disconnected it from the internet. However, when the connection is lost, InDesign crashes after a while. You can see the CPU values it uses in the attached image.1 vote -
Dialogue windows open at full screen, and will not scale down or move
When I open, place, export or save a document, the dialogue window automatically goes to full screen and is not scalable or movable, even though I can select the border or the corner with the cursor (and see the cursor change to confirm I have the window border), it will not resize or move.

Edit Hyperlink allows pasting newlines
The hyperlink editor only supports single line editing, but if you paste a URL with a preceding lewline character, the editor keeps the new line. This makes the error non-obvious to the user. It is also impossible to remove the newline in the editor because it is a single-line editor, so it does not recognize that the newline is there. Since newlines are not allowed in URLs and in fact break them, my suggestion is to strip newline characters from URLs when pasted.

InDesign Window Keeps Moving
I keep running into issues with my InDesign application window moving around. The window continually resizes itself slightly or moves to the side of the monitor (cutting off access to some of the tools) when I haven't tried to resize it. This isn't a 'once in a while' issue; it's happening consistently, multiple times a session.
I'm running Indesign 2024 on a MacBook Pro with Apple M2 Pro Chip and macOS Ventura 13.5.1.
The issue also persists on my laptop monitor and when connected to external monitors (I run one 4K colour-accurate monitor and one standard 1080p monitor).
