Match pasteboard to screen color fails with dark theme under normal/preview
I have the pasteboard (Interface/Appearance/Color Theme) set to the darkest of dark, and I have Dark Mode on. (Ventura 13.3.3, InDesign 18.2.1). In Normal (w) file, it's the darkest color I selected, but when I switch to Preview, Bleed or Slug (w) the pasteboard turns a light gray. I don't see anything under preferences to correct this.

The screen does not update/move when zooming or scrolling the pages. The rulers indicate that I am moving between pages in the document, but the screen stays frozen on one page. After clicking and opening menus a number of times, the screen eventually updates. This happens intermittently, on various documents, no matter the complexity/file-size. Indesign is up-to-date. (MacOS Big Sur 11.7.4)

Hover Scrolling Disabling
PLEASE introduce an option to disable hover scrolling on selection. If I have selected a text box and want to scroll down to align options in Properties, I always end up changing the leading, language, font, etc. I don't know anyone that would want to use hover scrolling to make those changes. Maybe click and drag like the other apps would work. Please look into this issues as it has been years and this has not been fixed.

macOS menu bar covers InDesign title bar (multi-screen setup)
When running multiple screens connected to my MacBook Pro (14-inch, M1 Pro), InDesign's title bar will frequently get stuck under the macOS menu bar on the built-in screen, making it impossible to move the window either to another screen or within the built-in screen. I have to arrange the screens so the built-in screen is slightly above the others (even though it's below them physically) to get the title bar visible so I can move it.
Interestingly, this phenomenon only occurs on the built-in screen. It's likely that InDesign doesn't know how to handle the macOS menu bar being taller…

WordsFlow
When deciding against using WordsFlow plugin by EmSoftware, not renewing from trial license, it continued not only to be on the main FILE menu but it also is preventing normal (InDesign) placing of graphic files into InDesign files by a popup window asking for license renewal information. If I cancel that window, it cancels the PLACE... operation. In other words, WordsFlow does not extricate itself from the program even if no longer using and registered AND after uninstalling from the Windows APP utility, BUT it continues to interfere with normal InDesign operation.

BUG: nothing shows when first opening a file until you click on the page
Newer small bug but updates have not fixed this. When opening a file, especially a placed indd file inside a indd file, the page is blank until you click on the page. Not a huge issue but very strange as some may just sit there and wait without clicking.

Ventura Indesign file not found
I have a number of files when I double click them to open, I get an error saying "<file name> not found. If I make a copy of the file, I can then open it. I don't know it that's an InDesign issue or a Ventura issue.
Running an Apple M1 Max, with Ventura 13.2.1, and Indesign 18.1

"Paste into" not working in Layout Split View
When the layout view is split and you copy something and try to "Paste into", the option doesn't appear. You have to exit split view and toggle it again so it works.

Buttons do not work in Indesign
Certain buttons aren't working in Indesign. E.g. I can't click into the preflight panel, or the pop-up comes up for a millisecond, too fast for me to click into it. This is happening with the Preflight panel, the 'align to' button in the Alignment panel, and other toggles like it. Incredibly frustrating. I've tried restarting but the issue persists.

Don't provide the GPU Performance menu for Windows
It's outrageous that a giant corporation doesn't have support to GPU Performance for windows, when we sign the creative cloud plan doesn't shows that works differently in each operational system. Please, develop this functionality as soon as possible!!

As in the title, Bug: Open preferences. Hide indesign. Can't dismiss preferences. This is reproducible.

Frozen Blue Banner about Pantone changes
The temporary blue banner alerting me to the changes to Pantone's integration with Indesign has frozen in place partially off the screen and cannot be dismissed. I haven't restarted as I'm in the middle of a task and the functionality remains, it's just overlaid with the banner near the bottom.

Selection extends in wrong direction - all other thext editors are doing well, except InDesign
There is a very annoying behavior in InDesign - when using the Shift+Arrow keys to extend the selection, the selection grows in a wrong direction.
To reproduce:
1. Click and drag the text cursor to select text.
2. Shift + Arrow left to make the selection smaller.
Bug: the selection starts to grow/shrink AT THE BEGINNING OF SELECTION, not at the end of the selection.
Why is this a problem?

Paragraph values not appearing – SOLUTION
Paragraph values not showing in panel when text is selected.
SOLUTION I use is to hide options then show options which resets panel, rather than quit and restart InDesign or reboot Mac.

InDesign 18.0 keeps hanging when hyperlinks panel is open (checking links)
In InDesign 18.0 on Windows 10:
When I have a document open that has a lot of hyperlinks in the text and the Hyperlinks Panel is open, InDesign becomes unusable, because it constantly keeps checking the validity of the hyperlinks as a foreground process. So it keeps hanging and on the spinning blue circle. As soon as I manage to close the Hyperlinks Panel the problem dissapears, but sometimes I actually need to use the hyperlinks panel, and then the problem is back again. We have an automated process using InDesign to export the XML out of a .indd files. We are experiencing a scenario where InDesign is leaving behind numerous DBTmp files in /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Adobe InDesign/Version 18.0/en_US/InDesign Recovery/ to the point that our Mac is filling up a 500 Gig SSD. These files do not clean up after Quitting InDesign, a Reboot, attempting the Reset InDesign Preferences Shift-Control-Option-Command startup of InDesign. These files are also locked.
