   3 page master page spread (book cover). Unable to resize just the spine, the page tool selects ALL pages on the spread. I have discovered that the page tool works as expected when using any of the 'canned' workspaces, but using my (or any) custom workspace 'breaks' the page tool's functionality of being able to select a single page of a spread. Liquid Layout on or off makes no difference.
   InDesign 16.3.2 on Mac OS Catalina.

2. Document not opening properly - page is a small icon and whole screen is coloured

   My document was fine, but Indesign was glitchy, so I updated.
   Now I get this when I open the doc.
   Yesterday it did open properly after a wait. But today its the same.

   I've got a deadline follks - this isn't funny.

3. Just upgraded and the first file I open is duplicating lines and parts dissappear

   Scrolling is impossible - I get duplicated lines and parts of the document page disappears. In order to correct I have to do command "0" and the problem clears, but the second I try to scroll to the next set of pages it does the same thing

4. Weird things happening in layout

   different colors or shapes appear when zooming in or out. It does go away once you move a text box, etc.

5. Anomalous character missing glyph in the Story editor – Serious file problems

   I report a bug regarding an InDesign document of an anomalous character that is found in the "Story editor", which has already been reported in older versions of Adobe Indesign.
   (OS version: BigSur 11.3.1)
   (Adobe InDesign version: 16.2)

   As you can see in the examples that I attach, the text presents problems and I believe it is caused (or highlighted) by the missing glyph signs in each line of the "story editor", which does not appear to exist in the text.

   The problem is not solved by making the file idml.
   I tried to fix it by copying the text and placing it in a new InDesign file, the result didn't change.
   Then I tried to paste the text into "Microsoft Word" and after copying it again I brought it to a new InDesign file and, in that case, the problem disappears (unfortunately, however, I cannot do it with the entire text of the book because it is too complex and I'd basically have to start the job all over again). So I think the bug is only referable to certain files.

   I also tried to create a new document by importing all the pages from the old one, but even this operation did not solve the problem.
   In addition to this anomaly, I also noticed that clicking in some places of the text (to insert text or delete it manually) the cursor is positioned more and more to the left of where I click (for example, if I click after the last letter of the word after which I want to insert a text, the cursor is positioned between the penultimate and the last letter of that word, it is very annoying on a long job).

   The same thing happened to my colleague in the department: another document caused many more problems than mine, especially on a certain page, whatever action he performed, the file often slowed down until the program was closed, it was very difficult for him to complete a job that was now in its final phase.

6. Page tool doesn't allow me to align Pages in Spread.

   When i Disallow Document Pages to Shuffle and Mix 3 Pages in One Spread, lets say as an Example i Want to make a cover, the Page tool doesn't let me align the pages if i need it to, please see the video.

   My InDesign Version is InDesign 2021 - 16.1.x64 - Running on Windows 10 Pro - X64

7. Shortcuts for view at 200% 400% & 50% not working correctly

   Windows 10 - Indesign CC 16.4 (only just updated today 8/10)

   Issues - shortcuts
   Ctrl+5 (view @ 50%)
   Ctrl+2 (view @200%)
   Ctrl+4 (view @400%) not working properly.

   Ctrl+5 is now view @ 33.33%
   Ctrl+4 is now view @ 266.67%
   Ctrl+2 is now view @ 133.33%

   The issue doesn't seem to be a thing for Mac, they work fine.

8. page number

   Dear Adobe Team,

   InDesign 16.3.2 seems to have an issue showing previous and next page numbers.

   I draw a textbox > special characters menu > mark > previous/next page number > page number is included. Except it only shows the current page number.

   It would be nice know if I made a mistake or if this is a bug.

10. copy and paste. Text disappears from google docs to InDesign

    Hello,
    When I copy and paste from google docs to Adobe InDesign the text pastes in but then the page goes white and all the text disappears. If I click the text frame the words reappear and the text frame re-sizes and snaps down.

    I am currently on the latest version of Mac Big Sur and have updated to the latest version of Adobe InDesign of 16.3.2. Here are screenshots of the issue.

11. InDesign v16.4 corrupts my files while I'm working in them. It will try to recover the information but the same thing happens. Using 16.3.2

12. Having problems naming alternate layouts within the pages panel since update to Big Sur

    Problems started after updating to MacOS Big Sur
    Indesign 2021 - (2020 same problem)

    I can't rename the alternate layouts in the PAGES panel when the panel is docked. If the panel is floating free, there is no problem.
    I never had this issue before, it al started after updating to Mac OS Big Sur.

13. tables jumping to next page

    Sometimes tables that fit on one page jumps to the next page causing reflow. It does this randomly and can't figure out why. This has to be caused by bug in indesign. I really wish Adobe would focus more on fixing the many bugs in its programs rather than adding new features.

14. missing text and images

    I have a multiple facing page doc that is missing text boxes and images. seems like a rendering issue but I cant fix the bug. any ideas? things I have tried are: preference reset, exporting the doc as an IDML file, moving pages to a new doc. nothing is fixing the bug.

17. pages shuffle

    Indesign 16.2.1

    When trying to move spreads around in the pages panel when small thumbnails are used and "allow document pages to shuffle" turned on, I'm unable to move them in between spreads because there's not enough room for the cursor – I'm only able to attach them to either side of an existing spread.

    Turning the thumbnails to medium or larger alleviates this problem.

18. table content moving even if there is enough room

    This is getting ridiculous, there are so many bugs in this program it's barely usable anymore. I have a 2 column layout, some content spans to 1 column. Sometimes when there is a table that spans it moves the table to the next page even if there is enough room. The only way to fix this is to make another text box and link them together. This is a huge pain ********** and makes it difficult when there are footnotes. It's a span bug and has been around for a while. Instead of making new features can you fix the tools there are already there.

19. iCloud drive

    inDesign thinks links are gone when files are being stored in iCloud Drive (even though the cloud version is still in the same folder on my computer). Please allow inDesign to download linked files in iCloud Drive automatically so I don't have to download and relink manually.

20. NEW DOCUMENT DOES NOT APPEAR AFTER LEAVING DOCUMENT SETUP

    WHEN CREATING A NEW DOCUMENT VIA THE UPDATED DOCUMENT SETUP DIALOG, NO DOCUMENT APPEARS AFTER CONFIRMING CHOICES. PRESSING COMMAND-N TO CREATE A SECOND DOCUMENT MAKES THE FIRST DOCUMENT WINDOW APPEAR UNDER THE NEWLY OPENED DOCUMENT SETUP DIALOG.
