1. Automatic insertion of columns upon text alteration, always in the same spot on the page; this occurs irrespective of style (paragraph, char

   Posted that this was happening last update: this column "Layout" occurs no matter what style (paragraph or character) is selected, and the column layout affects all text placed over the area where the automatic "columns" occurs, in other words, anything adjusted or placed over the area (positioned always two columns at approx 4" down the page).
   What seems to trigger the insertion of this four-line column layout is any text alteration - it gets inserted on random pages!
   I have checked all "unseen" screens, object styles, text box controls, preferences. I am completely flummoxed (user of Adobe InDesign over 25 years and PageMaker before that - NOT a novice...)

2. spelling issue

   I'm trying to spellcheck but it is defaulting to Dutch 2005 reform even though its set to English UK in preferences. How do I fix this as it used to be fine?

3. Dictionary language list is grayed out everywhere in InDesign ME 2019, 2020 macOS Mojave

4. Cross-references in a table breaks when moving table-cell.

   When moving a table-cell that contains a cross-reference, it breaks and becomes a ”red flag”. What happens is that a text-anchor gets a "1" added to its name. A paragraph anchor just breaks.

5. Text Box Cutting off Copy with Auto Height On

   I am using version 15.0.1 but this also happens in previous versions. We use multiple paragraph styles to format our text. We have noticed in some cases, not all when we copy the text frame the text box cuts off the last line when copied. Also when you click in a text box and begin to edit the last line disappears. We use many layers and many versions so we copy the text very often, this is causing problems with missing text.

   To get our text formatted we use paragraph styles, we hit enter to go to the next style, this has always worked really well. Recently however, our style changed and they want the text to flow, not be on separate lines. We go back and delete the return to flow the text. I have also tried this same effect with nested paragraph styles, even with nested styles we get the same text box issue with the last line being cut off.

6. Table Headers Disappear after copy/paste

   Yes, I know this is an old topic that has supposedly been fixed... but...not fixed after yesterday's update, 15.0.1 x64.

   I can add a space in the header to force it into overset and the header comes back, just have to live with dozens of overset errors.

7. invalid index reference

   Can´t create Index!
   Error message is (Translations): Can´t create index. At Least one reference contains faulty markers. Delete faulty markers from index references.

   HOW DO I FIND THESE? Can´t find anything wrong in the Index list or the document.

8. triple click paragraph takes next paragraph style instead of selected

   Triple click paragraph and paste new text takes paragraph style from next paragraph instead of the selected paragraph meaning you have to manually select the paragraph if you have a header or different paragraph style immediately after the text you wish to replace.

   I've a problem with Ralewey Google Font on inDesign. It seems that it does't work when I choose the italic version of the font with Cyrillic. but Boogle provide the italic version of the font.

10. Tracking uppercase bug

    Using some fonts (ie. MacOs system font PT SANS), when I change from lowercase to uppercase using the "Tt" function in the character panel, words appears with a wider tracking. When I change it with the menu "change to uppercase" it appears OK. I tried this also in Illustrator and it works well, so I think this is not about the font.

11. Disable Southeast Asian Hypenation

    When importing ZWSP or non-ZWSP text, hyphenation can not be disabled. It would be nice if hyphenation can be disabled in the paragraph properties and the text then be removed of hyphens.

12. CC2020 story doesn't show hyperlink symbols

    Hello,

    With CC 2019 I could switch into story mode and see the starting and ending tags for a hyperlink. This ability was beneficial because I found the text editor struggled to reveal/understand the boundaries of the hyperlink's text-it couldn't tell where the hyperlink ended. If you look in the first figure, if I type at the end of the hyperlink, even with first keying a space symbol, the hyperlink extends into any further sentences I type.

    In 2019 I would use the story editor to move the cursor outside the hyperlink termination symbol and get around the problem. With CC 2020's story editor, you don't see the hyperlink start and termination symbols anymore. Not being able to see the symbols makes it very difficult to type text after you have a hyperlink in the middle of a paragraph.

    Open the Hyperlinks panel and see whether the Hyperlinks are actually there. It could be that the Hyperlinks were initially created (hence the Blue color Underline beneath them) but were removed later on. That’s why the Story Editor does not show them.

    From the Hyperlinks panel flyout menu, choose ‘Convert URLs to Hyperlinks…’ and see if the Hyperlink Start and Termination Symbols are shown in the Story Editor.

13. mac os extended italian keyboard - entering numbers keys obtain error on text showed

    Digiting numbers on my extended keyboard using numbers section on the right of the keyboard the result is a changement in the phrase font and numbers don't appear in the phrase. Now I can use only numbers on top of the keyboard.

16. Paragraph shading not aligned in justified text when optical alignment is on

    If optical margin alignment (story) is ON the paragraph shading doesn't align on the right margin of justified text. hyphens seem to push the edge of the shading out. This is in build 13.1.1 but is also reported in 15.0.0.155. I cannot update to the newest version without buying a new computer—so I won't be anytime soon or maybe ever. 17. Hyphenation in Swedish adds letters

    The Swedish word "mässing" is given a third "s" when hyphenated (mäss-sing). InDesign 15.0, MacOSX 10.14.6 (18G95).

18. Mysterious blocks of whitespace appearing in tables

    Yesterday I reported mysterious blocks of white space appearing between paragraphs and images. They are now starting to appear between my tables. Please see the attached figure. There is no indication of them in the story. Has this got something to do with the footnotes which are behaving very strangely. Maybe I have misconfigured them somehow?

19. Highlighting text in a table does not highlight the corresponding text in the story editor

    When I highlight text in a table, I would expect the same text to appear highlighted in the story editor. Instead, the story editor jumps to the beginning of the document.

20. Glyph substitution not working with certain Oriya and Bengali glyphs

    The following words in cannot be reproduced in InDesign. It seems the glyph substitution is not working in about 1% of cases.

    র‍্যানিবিজুমাব — Bengali
    ମହତ୍ଵପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ — Oriya
    ସ୍ଵେଚ୍ଛାକୃତ — Oriya
    କିମ୍ଵା — Oriya

    It looks fine above, in any text editor, or in any Microsoft app, but does NOT look right in any Adobe app I tested, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop CC 2019 and 2020 of each.
    I am applying the World-Ready Composers.
    I have tried copy+pasting the text from Word and also tried the Place command in InDesign.
    I've tested in both the English North America and English Arabic versions.
    I've tried multiple fonts, as well. No change.
    See attached for examples. Word doc shows as it should be. InDesign shows it wrong. I highlighted the glyphs that are wrong in InDesign as pink.
