Even though the book contains three chapters, bookmarks only appear for two chapters
InDesign 2020 - I have create a multi-chapter book. When I use the function "Esporta libro su PDF…" the file PDF obtained has the summary correct (all the chapters are dysplayed) but bookmarks only appear for two chapthers.
I've tried changing the order of the chapters to see if it's a file problem, but the result doesn't change. The last chapter does not appear in bookmarks list.I remain at disposal for any clarification

Pixelation of transparent .png's mostly using logos when exporting to PDF
Used a high quality logo, even took the time to replace it a second time. Same result.
Creates a pixelated black outline, even after replacing it a couple of times.1 vote -
profil
Merci
Cela est très ennuyeux pour les imprimeurs.1 vote -
Endnotes with links incorrect when exporting to an accessible PDF file.
When exporting an InDesign file to an accessible PDF file (tagged PDF), if any endnotes contain hyperlinks, the tagging structure is messed up. Starting with the first hyperlink (not the links for the endnote references), all of the endnotes from that point on are in the link tag for that first hyperlink. I encountered a very similar bug a few years ago when exporting to the EPUB format with documents that contained endnotes that finally got resolved a year or so after the bug was reported.

Indd-generated QR code disappears in Print-PDF
When exporting a print pdf, a qr code that has been generated within inDesign does not appear in the pdf. There is not even an empty box. It seems the pdf export is somehow inaccurate when it comes to qr codes that have been generated in Indd.

PDF issue with WorkSans variable font
I'm getting a strange issue with the WorkSans static variable font when exporting a PDF. The font is from Google Fonts -- https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Work+Sans. The weight in the attached example is WorkSans Black. A strange overlap issue is happening in the crossbar of the A. The issue only seems to be occurring in that letterform. The only way I can seem to resolve this is by converting the font to outlines in InDesign, which is not ideal.

Paragraph-Borders are not wrapped in appropriate container - InDesign 15.1.2 (macos)
To reproduce add a border to a paragraph style (not the frame, the paragraph) apply this to an existing paragraph and export to PDF. In Acrobat use preflight to check for pdf/ua compliance. You will get an error message telling there is a content that is neither an artifact nor a tagged content.
To fix this in Acrobat, you have to select the "path" elements in navigation pane and apply an apropriate parent container. Reason for this behavior is, that InDesign places the path that renders the border directly in the structure without a container element. And this does not…

InDesign is not correctly role mapping all paragraph styles to tags, when creating an accessible tagged interactive PDF
I am using InDesign 15.1.1 to create several accessible, tagged PDFs.
I have tagged every paragraph style correctly under the export tags for PDF (Edit all export tags > show: PDF), and I have left any list items and table of contents items with the default ‘Automatic’ tag.
I am exporting as an interactive PDF with ‘Create tagged PDF’ checked.
Then when viewing the PDF in Acrobat Pro DC, in the Tags pane I have selected ‘Apply role mapping to tags’. This should ensure that in the tags pane in Acrobat, all my original paragraph style names…16 votes -
Accessibility-Tag Z order issue while using custom bullets

We are getting an unwanted space between the custom bullet and the text and that too reading order got reversed. We are not getting such issue while using InDesign default bullet list. Please refer the attached screenshot with reading order enabled.

Variable font: Italic character wrongly displayed when exported to PDF format from InDesign.
I'm reporting this bug on behalf of the type design studio Dalton Maag. To reproduce: use the provided test font, write the lowercase letter "p" in Indesign, and choose the "Hair Italic" instance, or equivalently, set:
- the font's weight axis to the minimum,
- the width to its default value
- the italic axis to its maximum.Glyphs are shown without fault within InDesign itself. However, when exported to PDF format and opened on Acrobat Reader, there is an issue with how the letter “p” is displayed (see aktiv_vf_p_bug.png).
We are suspecting the issue is caused by a point…

Really, ACTUALLY fix the form field export problem. This is NOT fixed as of August 2020
This bug should not be closed. The issue with exporting form fields and having them show up as tagged in Acrobat is not fixed. Was not in CC2018, isn't still now.

Exporting accessible PDF – wrong BoundingBox

Wrong use of German term »Nutzen« in the PDF export options dialogue
The term »Nutzen« is not used correctly as this usually refers to how many units of a design you put onto a printing sheet.
What it should read in the options is simply »Doppelseite« or »Doppelseite fortlaufend« or »Doppelseite (Deckblatt)« or »Doppelseite fortlaufend (Deckblatt). The term »Nutzen« should be omitted completely.

InDesign 2020 pdfs not exporting correctly
PDFs have an error when viewing in acrobat and can not be imported into another Indesign file as an image. This is for print ready pdf's, not interactive ones.
The attached screenshot shows error message and the pdf has dropped an image and some copy.
