1. The File size increases after the document is curved and exported.

   Once the document is curved and exported the PDF file size is more then the uncurved PDF

2. Export PDF, *.ai files with masks areas are inbverted if cropping marks set

   If I export my indesign file with straight page format is ok, but when I want to export my printer's cutting marks and bleed then my *.ai files that were contained in the indesign files are not good anymore: the mask areas that were previously correct are now inverted...

3. Phantom lines are appearing on export that do show up on print

   Phantom lines around boxes are appearing on export. Some of these are appearing when printed from Nitro Pro. This may be a Nitro Pro issue?

4. indesign export

   I export a pdf and then decide I want to make a tweak. So I tweak the indesign file, re-export my pdf, and then the pdf doesn't update the preview! I have to re-export TWICE in order for the pdf to be updated. Anybody else having this problem?

5. Export to PDF window has keyboard shortcuts ALT-e for both View and spreads but will only activate view.

6. Indesign fails to create new PDF's from imported Xerox scans

   tested on pc version Adobe Indesign CS6 8.1

   All imported pdf color scans from Xerox WC78xx copiers fail to create a new PDF in Indesign when using 'High quality Print' setting in Indesign PDF preferences.
   The only workaround is choosing convert to CMYK (or press quality) in Adobe indesign pdf preferences.
   Xerox now knows about this (I contacted them as first) but they say it's not their fault, Indesigns handels their scans wrong.

   Please help ASAP, as this affects all users of indesign with Xerox machines (a lot!)

7. inDesign buttons not show

   Some interactive buttons not show in acrobat DC. I have to click on something (e.g. the zoom) for showing all interactive buttons. Huge bug!

   Tested on windows and mac.

8. Datamerge

   Version: Indesign CC 2017.1. Same behaviour in both Windows 7 and El Capitan 10.11.6.

   Steps to reproduce: Create a layout file and a tab delimited text file like the ones seen on the info images.

   Expected result: A pdf with the same data as the text file and preview.

   Actual result: A pdf with its first record correct, but the following two incorrect. See description image.

   Solutions/workarounds

   1. Decrease the column names number of characters and/or make sure no placeholder has overset text (used solution).

   2. Create a merged document. The values seem to work as expected then (this solution was not possible in my case).

   Misc info

   Although making sure there are no overset text frames seems to fix the problem there were many text frames like that in the actual layout, and all except one of them worked as expected. The data itself fit the frames without any problem and no overset warning is shown after the export.

   Provided are the actual test files as well. Se file ”datamergebug_files.zip”.

   A really nasty bug since the preview should definitely not differ from the actual output.

9. Profiles equal to the Output-Intend get lost on PDF-Export

   When exporting a PDF all profiles equal to the Output-Intend (which in my case is the Document-Colorspace PSO Coated V3) get lost when exporting.

   I have created a small test-file with an PSO Coated V3 Image and an ISO Coated V2 Image.

   When Exporting as PDF X4 with Output-Intend Set to PSO Coated V3 the Image that IS PSO Coated V3 looses its profile and the same for the ISO Coated V2 when the Output-Intend is set to that.

   This is horrible for Colormanagement. I've been in contact with "Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG" and they suggested to report this to Adobe as a bug.

   They way it is you can not differenciate between images that don't have a profile and images that already have the correct profile. As a result all images get converted again in prepress - even those that already are in the correct profile.

10. adobe 2017 exporting pdfs are terrible in any colour profile. Printing and rgb pdf is fine.

    no ideas - need help! Indeign is useless to me without being able to make good pdfs in both cmyk and rgb

    Alt text missing on hyperlinks after "Export as Interactive PDF"

    I work primarily in InDesign and create accessible PDFs. During the design stage, I always add the alt text when creating hyperlinks or adding images, and export it as an interactive PDF.

    As we know, after updating beyond InDesign version 16.1, the hyperlink alt text will not appear on the Link tag, but instead, it appears on the "Link - OBJR" (aka "Annotation") tag within the Link tag.

    I work on long reports that usually have hundreds of hyperlinks and this is a big and very time-consuming problem for me, so I reverted back to v 16.1.

    I've been ignoring the past several updates for InDesign, but I need to update it to v 17.

    Is there an acceptable solution or work-around besides reverting InDesign back to version 16.1?

12. syntax issue in exported pdf out of latest ID Version

    Was exporting a simple white pdf created with Indesign and High Print Quality Profile. Preflight is saying that there is a syntax-issue (General File Format Error).
    Using the latest Version of Indesign. Thats happening with every pdf at the moment.

13. EXPORT OPTIONS GREYED OUT

    when trying to export from the recent indesign the options that i normally use are greyed out. see attached sceenshot, i have tried this on another computer and all seems fine, both are running mojave and indesign 2019
