A new start/End point for stokes being like the simplewide one, but being shorter, it's a needed feature when add technical measure to a illustration that was made out side of indesign. These technical drawing have some very small parts, and having a shorter simplewide point would be a great help, also changing scale is no help because I want the stroke width to remain the same.1 vote
Where is the tabs manager..?
My idea is this:
RE INSERT NOW THE TABS MANAGER...!!!!!!!!1 vote
I would like to use/export interactive PDF, which would allow user to check the checkbox next to object. Upon checking, the object hidden style would become visible.
For example: I have PDF with multiple images of cars. When I check the checkbox near the image of car, that image will be overlayed with green transparent effect to show this car has been selected.
I would like to have this feature available for my collection overview and to see the visual feedback of all collected objects would be satisfying for me.1 vote
the ability to not enable overrides in class this way when I pull in title to the TOC it does not pull in overides in the headline styled text1 vote
When editing a stylesheet i.e. for a paragraph I want to exclude the character colors. When checking -without color- there is also a override+ marking, which is not needed.
Can we have a checkbox to exclude some style settings or another solution?1 vote
I want to highlight (or rather, underline because InDesign doesn't have a proper highlight feature...) my text a custom color. The standard 10 or so color options aren't enough. I want to use the color picker or a hex code to specify a different color to highlight my text. This is an important feature for me, because until it's implemented, I have to use Adobe Spark!1 vote
Add the ability to have multiple running headers. Specifically for multi-level lists that include numbering. Currently you can only select one paragraph style and it doesn't include numbering. It would be great to be able to create breadcrumbs for multi-level lists so you can show which section and subsection you're in INCLUDING NUMBERING. Currently the running header drops the numbering which is annoying.0 votes
I recently worked with a publication that needed to hide part of the text in different places. The full text also had to be shown next to it.
It would be possible to arrange this by means of GREP-styles, if it were possible to use some kind of pseudo font with zero character width or something like.
Also it would be useful having an opportunity visually replace any symbol with underline (such an idea is often using in a language textbooks) using character styles.0 votes
