  1. Allow Lock on Table Rows

Allow locking rows in tables so that we can keep the top row in place on all pages, while being able to add/remove rows without the top row moving up/down the page.

  3. Please fix the table style problem, I cannot change or update a table style and if I do it crashes.

Fix it so I am able to change and update a style. Currently, any change to the style crashes InDesign.

  4. Easier conversion of tables from Word to InDesign

I would love to be able to copy and paste cells exactly as they are in MS Word and MS Excel into a formatted InDesign table. Unfortunately, if there is a hard return in one of the cells in MS, then InDesign reads it as a new cell so you have to copy cell by cell.

  5. Tables with footers across pages don't adjust when deleting rows

Tables with footers across pages don't adjust when row is deleted. The row below the one deleted should move up and replace the space, but the whole table shortens with the footer and the next row stays on the next page. Just spent 2 hours setting this up and now have to go back and manually lay everything out.. Tables also disappear on subsequent pages. Bugs in both 2017 and 2018.

  6. Allow linked excel table to thread inside text thread

It`s possible to insert linked excel table in text. But in this case table doesn`t thread to the next page when it is long. From the othe side it`s possible to insert linked excel table as new story (as separate frame). In this case table threading is OK.But in this case you have to look for continuity of your document because there is no possibility to glue frames of text and tables to each other to provide continuity.

  7. Rotated Text in tables

I would like the ability to have rotated text in tables, like we can already do in Word.

  8. Add table formatting with cell style rather than replace all existing formatting

When doing financial table I need to added extra space or strike to rows while also adding fills to some columns, also some columns have different text style eg Bold, Italic etc.
With Cell Styles they override the existing formatting.
I would like to be able to add these as a Cell Style to a row without replacing the existing format . This would be a bit like a nested style.
