Select All Across Pages
PLEASE create an option to select all objects or text over the entire document instead of just the page/spread you're on. Making a universal change to the document, such as outlining the type is such a pain having to manually change from page to page. I've seen MULTIPLE threads online for the past 8 years of people requesting this, and it hasn't been resolved.

Seriously! It would save hours of work.

Yes. true indeed... More precisely I'd need the ability of ID to select all elements of the entire document (NOT via Find/change - just add a mouse button dropdown option) based on their paragraph (or table) style. That would be a little step for mankind but a great step for ID.

Is this really not doable? I want to change the scale of a bunch of images across 40+ pages and I can't "select all" of them?

Please make this an option.

Please. Please. Please. I can't believe I am going page to page right now in an 80 page document. And that is little compared to some!!

CANNOT believe you can't sell more than one page/spread at once and make changes? Surely not

B. Osteneck's idea would work a treat - shift select across spreads to select objects you want to move together. This would save a lot of work when doing things like graphics that run from one spread to another, for seamless PDFs. At the moment if a graphic needs moving, you have to measure the amount you move it by so that you can move the graphic on the next page by the same amount, ensuring alignment. Pain in the butt.

Yes please Adobe!!! Very much needed for a long time!
Use case: setting 20 pages of text to '2 column' ...currently no way to do so. (Master page settings only works before adding text.)

Yes, please add the feature similarly to Illustrator. (see attached)

This is literally a must and with how much we pay for adobe products it's unbelievable that it is still not a feature.

YES PLEASE. Me as well. The same object on all 210 pages, and I want to re-size it. (not something that can be on a master page as the content changes for each page). Surely, there's a way??

Sorry: In my former comment I meant "Click and Drag", not "Drag and Drop".

B. Osteneck commented
YES, I also agree, please fix this!!!
Some ideas on how it might be realized:
- Drag and Drop is not restricted on objects on just one page spread (as is now)
- After selecting objects on one spread, you can shift-select objects on another spread thus expanding your selection (instead of replacing the first selection which gets lost, as is now)
- Layers window: The button "Select elements on <layer XY>" selects the elements of the selected layer in the whole document (not just the elements on one spread, as is now), unless something is currently selected
