Continue footnotes numeration
Add the possibility to continue footnotes numeration over different stories. For example, continue footnotes numeration on different chapters of a book, where each chapter is one independent file.

Oh my gosh, I am going through hell, right now, because InDesign lacks this feature.
I have to lay out multiple stores within a single doc, and the footnote numbering needs to be continuous from story to story. But, as far as I can tell, the Book feature numbering isn't up to speed with multiple stories within a single doc.

I assume what is recommended here is that the numbering of footnotes can be set to update automatically across the documents included in a book file. This would be a great help to me as I use the book feature frequently, most of my authors use footnotes, and they are often added and deleted during editing.
