  1. Review pins hard to spot

I struggle finding the pins associated to the comments in my designs.

When working with huge very colorfull and image rich brochures the marked pin is very difficult to see a lot of times. Its really frutrating.

I have two suggestions that would fix this problem.

    1. Don't zoom out the view by default when you click on a comment. This would solve my problem, as I would zoom in close on my page and then click the comment. But now it zooms out the view when I click on a comment.

    2. A quick animated arrow that points to the relevant…

  2. Share for Review: Tracking Resolved Comments

While the Share for Review option is so handy for clients to make edits, it is a nightmare to track what has been implemented because as soon as the edit is resolved it becomes unmapped.

It is very hard to keep track of revisions so I would love a feature to glance back on previous versions (either by highlighting, creating a pdf including comments, or a window that you can click a page to see before and after results) to see where the markups where made. Clicking back to unresolved doesn't work because once a change is made the text…

  3. Merge Features of Share for Review into Publish Online

Looking at all of the different feature request posted for "Share for Review" I feel it would almost be better to just merge the "Share for Review" features into the "Publish Online" since it already has many of the requested features like setting PDF quality, being able to select the number of pages, print as spreads, ect... The only thing it is missing is the ability to make it invite only and the commenting features. That way instead of two tools there is one. Maybe it has an option that when selected it adds the "Review Features" and if not…

  5. Option to pick your default Share for Review Private or Public Access Setting

This may already be available (if so please teach me), but I don't see it.

Having the share for review option able to default to either public or private access. I can't tell you how many times I am in a rush and forget to click public and then the person gets back and says, they don't have access.

  6. Share for Review - Image Quality

Bring the optimized quality of Share for Review images up to the level of acceptable web-based image optimization at 100% size.

I understand the need to optimize images for high-performance quick reviews. However, the current setting is far too low. Upgrading the image quality to an acceptable web-image optimization will help reduce feedback loops with concerns from stakeholders over bad image quality.

In my review workflows using Shared for Review, I am now constantly exporting and sending separate PDFs to reviewers to prove image quality based on concerns from the Share for Review representation.

Please know that the Share for…

  7. Center and zoom in

I often find it hard to spot the pins on the canvas when reviewing comments for a busy layout. A center in and zoom level or a better highlighted pin would be awesome!

  8. Access setting defaults

Share for review is a game changer! Thank you! But every time the compiling and uploading is done I need to change the access type from access setting it has to re-compile and upload. This is such a shame.

  10. Keep Comments on the Spread When Resolved

My reviewers love being able to see the conversation and comments all the other reviewers are making, saving them time by not making the same comment over and over. My proposal team thinks the interaction between InDesign and SFR is wonderful!! In our large documents, we have found as we start to make the edits, the comments disappear making it challenging for the document editor to find where they were. The comment totally disappears or it throws them to the end of the list in a pile of "unmapped comments." BUT it then totally moves the comment off the spread.…

  11. How to release an IP address on a Mac?

To release and renew your IP address in Mac OS X, you’ll use the Network system preferences to renew the DHCP Lease.

    1. Click the Apple button and choose System Preferences.
    2. Choose the Network icon.
    3. Select your method of connecting to the internet. In most cases it will either be Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
    4. Click Advanced.
    5. If you selected Ethernet, you should already be in the TCP/IP tab heading. If you aren’t, or if you selected Wi-Fi, click the TCP/IP tab heading.
    6. Click Renew DHCP Lease.
    7. Click OK to exit the Advanced window, and then exit System Preferences.

    A restart may be…

  14. Download PDF in Share For review.

We want to be able to download PDF from Share for Review in Adobe CC Web. This feature was being tried out and got released accidentally and hence has been removed.
    Please do it :) #GOADOBEDEVTEAM

  15. Share for review file management

Hi, I would like to be able to manage files I shared for review in bulk: sometimes I have a lot of files I want to delete at once, but I cannot find a way to do that (have to delete them seperately and click a confirm button again and again...) If this option already exists, please let me know where to find it!

  17. Share for Review, Reviewing Comments: show page # as well as spread #

When in InDesign and reviewing comments from Share for Review, it would be nice to have the comments identified by page # as well as spread #.

  18. Share for Review: Page view instead of Spread View

I am having lots of people reviewing page-oriented instead of spread-oriented documents. (Books, manuals and the like.) Some are asking why they can't view the PDF in Share for Review as a single scrolling page, like in Adobe Reader. I personally don't care, but I have no answer for them. It would be nice, and it seems it would be technically not that difficult, to support single-page view. This would really help people reviewing on a tablet or a phone.

  19. Tagging/Notifications for Guests

I use the Share for Review feature mostly with users who do not have or need Adobe licenses - and for security all documents have to be password protected. Therefore, most of my reviewers are 'guests' and only receive notifications if I reply to something they said. If I add a new comment on my own, or revise text or try to direct their attention to a new Pin, they do not receive any kind of notification. It would be useful if I could tag guest users via their email address and they could get an email. If this is…

  20. Share for Review feature notifications settings should be accessible in InDesign, not only Adobe Cloud

The share review feature could use a lot of work. First off, the notification settings should be in InDesign, not Adobe cloud. People don't know to go to Adobe Cloud to adjust notifications, nor did you tell anyone. Also, review comments in InDesign are still a bit glitchy, sometimes the pin or highlighted content does not appear within the editor when viewing review comments. Thanks you!
