  1. Option to pick your default Share for Review Private or Public Access Setting

This may already be available (if so please teach me), but I don't see it.

Having the share for review option able to default to either public or private access. I can't tell you how many times I am in a rush and forget to click public and then the person gets back and says, they don't have access.

  2. Keep Comments on the Spread When Resolved

My reviewers love being able to see the conversation and comments all the other reviewers are making, saving them time by not making the same comment over and over. My proposal team thinks the interaction between InDesign and SFR is wonderful!! In our large documents, we have found as we start to make the edits, the comments disappear making it challenging for the document editor to find where they were. The comment totally disappears or it throws them to the end of the list in a pile of "unmapped comments." BUT it then totally moves the comment off the spread.…

  3. Allow to export pdf with comments for archival purposes

Once we are done with a project, we package all of our files and upload to our server. It would be nice to be able to export the reviewed documents as pdfs that include all of the comments made. Just for archival purposes in case we ever go back and wonder why certain changes were made.

  4. InDesign real-time collaboration with Adobe Cloud Create

To have the possibility of (at least two users) working at the same time on the same project, like google doc but with a synch option.

  5. Center and zoom in

I often find it hard to spot the pins on the canvas when reviewing comments for a busy layout. A center in and zoom level or a better highlighted pin would be awesome!

  6. Add comments from InDesign to reviewer using Share for Review

It seems like owners of documents can only reply to existing comments made in the Share for Review document but can't create comments in InDesign that appear in the Share for Review document. Often, we have a question about text or images that the reviewer needs to answer, but we have to first Share for Review and then create the comment there. It would be great if we could convert InDesign Notes to comments for the reviewer that they can see in the Share for Review side panel.

  7. Enable the user to select specific pages, spreads or page ranges to share for review

I would like to be able to create a link (to share for review) for specific pages or page ranges, so I can send a stakeholder the work applicable to them and not sharing my whole document with them.

  8. share for review improvement

Hi Adobe, share for review is an amazing feature. Three simple features I'm really missing

    • A button where my client can officialy approve the design
    • An option to show higher res pdf's
    • Copy paste possibility from the review in Indesign: as a designer you need to copy new given texts from clients. Now I have to type everything with the possibility of mistakes. Moreover, a lot of designers are more visually focussed and sometimes even dyslectic. A must have and simple feature in my eyes.

  9. Share for Review, Reviewing Comments: show page # as well as spread #

When in InDesign and reviewing comments from Share for Review, it would be nice to have the comments identified by page # as well as spread #.

  10. InDesign Share for Review

Would like to have the ability to notify (email) members/people whenever a link has been updated. Currently, without notifications sent, we can go hours before a client looks at revisions because they didn't realize the change was made.

  11. share for review track changes

If you add a "track changes" option in the share for review function, it will be super! Now my clients mark things to be changed (mostly textual corrections) and when i've marked them as done, the marking is gone, so the client can't verify that the changes are made the way they wanted.

  12. Share several separate files as one (using Book feature possibly) in Share for Review

The Share for Review is a fantastic feature.
We publish magazines that are designed in several different files for each section. It would be great if you could combine files and share for review (possibly using the Book feature). Currently the Book features allows you to create a single PDF from several separate files into one.

This option would be great when Sharing for Review instead of creating a PDF.

  13. Tagging/Notifications for Guests

I use the Share for Review feature mostly with users who do not have or need Adobe licenses - and for security all documents have to be password protected. Therefore, most of my reviewers are 'guests' and only receive notifications if I reply to something they said. If I add a new comment on my own, or revise text or try to direct their attention to a new Pin, they do not receive any kind of notification. It would be useful if I could tag guest users via their email address and they could get an email. If this is…

  14. Ability to print and/or download proofs

I have some clients that like to print hard copies of their proofs. Before the 'Share for Review" feature, it was a lot of pdf's making made and uploaded, which tended to crash my InDesign, so I do enjoy not having to create so many, and having one link throughout the process.
However, there is no option for the client to download a pdf or to print the pages directly from the proof... so then I'm back to making pdf's again. That is the only thing so far my clients seem unhappy about with the new proofing system, is the…

  15. Share for Review - Option to select/highlight text

When an editor is reviewing the document it whould be verry nice to have the option to select a part of a sentence that has to be corrected. Now there is only the option to pin it or draw a shape.

The editor now had to select the text, make a Pin and paste the text that has to be changed in the review box and add the new text.

Ideal whould be to have the option when text is selected the interface makes a new notiation from the selected text and highlights it in the document.

  16. improve pdf comments!

Firstly, kudos on the improved PDF comments. They are much much faster. No comparison. Thank you. It also seems to be working (although not tested much) much better with mixed English and Hebrew.

However, if you look at the attached screenshot, ❶ the comment icon is small and b/w. It would be extremely helpful if this was large and ❷ just like in DC, the comments box wastes tons of space. It would be nice if the text was much larger. This was executed very nicely in Acrobat XI (ruined in DC which nobody can use now). Could you make…

  17. STOP REQUIRING AN ADOBE ID to Review

1st this Review feature is long overdue. other updates and features are also long overdue. Sharing needs to be easier!!! Many clients, producers, freelance artists and brand owners are not Adobe users and they do not adopt things they don't understand right away. we need a way to share and review work that isn't just recruiting for adobe. pay attention to your subscribers needs not more barriers. The subscription model has been the empty shell everyone feared it would be and you all have no motivation to update adequate solutions

  18. How to release an IP address on a Mac?

To release and renew your IP address in Mac OS X, you’ll use the Network system preferences to renew the DHCP Lease.

    1. Click the Apple button and choose System Preferences.
    2. Choose the Network icon.
    3. Select your method of connecting to the internet. In most cases it will either be Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
    4. Click Advanced.
    5. If you selected Ethernet, you should already be in the TCP/IP tab heading. If you aren’t, or if you selected Wi-Fi, click the TCP/IP tab heading.
    6. Click Renew DHCP Lease.
    7. Click OK to exit the Advanced window, and then exit System Preferences.

    A restart may be…

  19. Ability to pass ownership of Share For Review to another user, or indeed share ownership

It would be really beneficial to be able to move ownership of a Share For Review to another user or indeed be able to have a buddy be the owner as often we move our documents around our workforce.

  20. More relevant Share for Review page title

I've recently started using the Share for Review feature which is great, however when sharing the link on Skype (as well as other messaging platforms I'd assume), it shows the link title as “Your Work | Adobe Creative Cloud” which isn’t very accurate or helpful to whoever I’m sharing the review page with.

It would be ideal if the HTML title of the review page could contain the title I input when I set up the review page, so that the link preview is much more relevant for someone you might be sharing it with.
