It would be great, scripts could be embedded into InDesign documents, so any user working with the document could execute the embedded script for this document.
These embedded scripts show up in the scripts panel in their own area, next to the other areas "application", "user", "community" –> "embedded"..
The script itself should optionally be protectable with a password and be saved in JSBIN format, so it’s executable, but could not be changed or extracted by the user.1 vote

Enable XML structure export to Word by formatting the exported tags and attributes in the same way that index entries are formatted. I need to preserve the XML when exporting to Word and then reimporting the updated Word file.1 vote

My Adobe Indesign was recently updated to a newer version. Every time this happens I lose the scripts that were installed to make the program more productive. It would be great if you could update to a newer version of InDesign and not have to reinstall your scripts every time you update the program.
When you update Indesign it can remember your preferences. Why can't it remember your scripts as well.1 vote
