Fitting Content - Define Zoom Percentage
Add a feature to let me define the Zoom percentage instead of just the standard selections. Example, an 8.5x11 from a manual has margins. If the manual needs to be printed smaller, having to place every page into a defined size requires touching every page instead of just enlarge/reduce to a specific size.

Stop resetting preferences and theme after update
do NOT mess with the apps preferences and custom setup when updating. Overnight the update from 13.1 to 14.0.2 (Win 10) wreaked havoc with preferences and other customised settings.
My setup is on a workstation and MUST NOT BE MESSED WITH.

command "delete hidden layers"
a function/command "delete hidden layers" (all hidden layers with one click/command) should be timesaving …!
Like in Photoshop CC "Ausgeblendete Ebenen löschen".

Omit text boxes [None] check box in Preflight > Bleed/Trim Hazzard Warning
Text boxes with [None] background like footers and page numbers are always showing up in the warning list. This would save a bunch of time checking each one or disregarding and having an error on press.

Need to duplicate Type's Name in the Buttons and Forms - we need to to duplicate large number of these with the same Type Name
Often we need to to duplicate large number of Buttons and Forms and need Type Name duplicated. This is so when we generate interactive pdf file, these can be filled automatically with the same same. Please help.

Want to check if Adobe has been 'hacked' because I've received an unusual email supposedly from an Adobe ID Product Manager
After sitting in the phone cue for an hour because there are no appropriate option choices for 'contact Adobe about suspicious emails asking for detailed questions about my account'. I thought I'd post it here because the email claims to have links to the InDesign team. Email content raises a number of security flags which require IT in my company to check it out and as I am IT, I tried - but if you can't get through to anyone at Adobe and there's nowhere to deal with security issues in the 'contact' section of Adobe, then guess I will…

Rename Hyperlink
Add the 'rename hyperlink' option to the 'edit hyperlink' window. I find it essential to identify hyperlinks by their names. But I often edit them. After I edit a link, and I want to rename it to better identify it, I have to open a new window just to rename it. This is quite inefficient.
2 votesIn the Hyperlinks panel, with the Name of hyperlink shown highlighted, clicking once more on the highlighted name enables you to ‘rename’ the hyperlink right there.

Bigger Icons
I really wish that this software was more user-friendly. The icons should be bigger and clearly labeled. Like the buttons at the self-checkout at the grocery store.

Find/change table stroke
When using Find/Change and selecting the tab to search for object attributes it's possible to search for a specific stroke width, color etc. But it does not look for that in tables. So if you don't use table or cell formating you have to select and find those attributes by hand. Couldn't there be a tab for searching attributes in tables as well?

I want to delete/remove/manage Recent files from the Start panel.
I archive completed projects, but still have to wade through the empty icons in the Recent files list. It would be nice to right-click > Remove the icons. It must be a simple JDI thing! :)

PDF - importing Enhancement in Draging
Please try to include Import Options dialogue while dragging a PDF file to Document rather than Menu option and Place. Since we using multi-screens and Mac OS, it will be a very useful option.

EXPORT JPG NAMED BY PAGE SIZE
Dear Adobe,
it would be very usefull if we could export jpgs from indd. file (contains different page sizes, 1200x628, 760x600, etc..) named by different page sizes like you did with export PDF files.

Add a built in HTML5 Page Curl Effect please
At the moment Indesign still only offers the SWF option to create a page curl effect and with Flash player soon to be no longer supported, and currently it only works intermittently now, it would be very useful to have a built in html5 version. At the moment the only option is to purchase an expensive plugin from In5 to do something I think Indesign should have?

Control over sorting order of Library assets
It would be very helpful to have control over arranging the order of assets in InDesign library. It would also be great to create folders within the library to group assets.

Keep an object in place when aligning with another object
In Illustrator if you have two objects selected, and then alt-click one, the object that was alt-clicked will stay in place when you align them together. Having this feature in InDesign would be helpful

Cpu usage
When i work with a long document, every change i make take a very long time, because InDesign use only one!!! core, when i have 8! Can you improve it?
