  1. I want to let viewers scroll through an Indesign multipage file on my Pf site, using the "Publish Online" feature in InDesign

I want to let viewers scroll through an Indesign multipage file as one item in my portfolio grid in my Pf site. Perhaps InDesign and Portfolio can integrate a new feature using the "Publish Online" feature in InDesign to accomplish this in Pf!

  2. Publish Online iPhone view Disappear the URL Search Bar

When we publish a document online, the chances are it will be 16:9 or a double page spread. Many client may wish to view this on a device such as iPad or iPhone.

We have found that when we try to do this and turn the device (iPhone, Safari) to landscape mode, the URL search field bar can appear and NOT disappear again. This takes a lot of screen space and ruins the effect and view of the page.

Is there a solution to this?

  4. GDPR regulations demand that data collections turned of on the Publish Online feature for my client upload to their website.

Even though Adobe claims to be up-to-date with GDPR regulations, I need to know how to turn all data collections off in InDesigns "Publish Online" feature, for my client to actually use the asset that was created for them. With the new GDPR regulations, they can not publish anything online that collects any kind of data.

Please explain how I do this?

  5. "Go back to a specific page"

"Go back to a specific page" - meaning if I have text links in the file and move from page 10 to page 110, give me an easy way to return to where I came from. In this case, page 10. Like a back button navigating through webpages. This is for PUBLISH ONLINE

  6. A Home Page for Publish Online Documents

Allow us to assign uploaded documents to a home page that would display several at once. And allow us to give it a human-readable address. That'd make linking to these documents easier.

  9. Toggles in Dashboard for published content

Introduce zwo Switches/toggles for "Hide the Share and Embed code" and "Allow PDF-Download" within the dashboard for an already published document so it doesn’t have to be republished every time one wants to change any of these options?

  10. Fix Javascript errors on all Publish Online documents

Every single Publish Online document throws a Javascript error. The error code seems to be the same for every document. The below was taken from 'Five Days from Nowhere', an Adobe example document used on the Publish Online documentation. The issue is that this Javascript error makes it impossible to add any custom Javascript as any subsequent code will not execute when the document is embedded in a different environment. This is a big issue for example for implementing Google Analytics Tracking codes into iframes.

  11. Publishonline Ideas votes must be separated from Indesign ideas.

Indesign users and issues are far away more than publishonline. I think it's fair to separate them so publishonline users have more efficiency. Publishonline will have a great future if we could invest on it. Although it is improoving very slow. Lets speedit up.

  12. Spread numbering confuses clients

When publishing spreads, numbering is for spreads spread 1, 2 ,3 etc but paging in document is different. This confuses clients and spreads should be numbered as pages page 1, page 2-3, page 4-5 etc.

  14. Stop flashing when changing next, previous page.

When pressing navigation (arrow keys) publishonline is flashing or clearing the page. Please stop that and just display the next page!

  15. PublishOnline dashboard folders

About time the dashboard provided a better file directory to allow users to organise their files better.

When you have multiple clients with over a hundred live publications it can get messy!

A simple even only single level file/folders option would be great so I can move all clients publications into their own folder.

A thousand agencies around the world would greatly welcome this I promise you!

  16. Option to turn hard coded navigation arrows on and off

I would love to be able to turn the prev next arrows off when not required. They can interfere with the design appearance of a publication.
It made it worse when Adobe made the arrows even thicker!
It should be easy to do for Adobe. Again Ajar In5 can do this. Indesign should be able to do it natively

  17. Form - text fields that can be assigned with paragraph styles in stead of the default font, style, size.

Default font is set to Minion Pro, size 12 for new text fields. It should be assigned with a paragraph style. The only workaround now is to go to find/replace font.

  19. Please allow the option to put a published link that was deleted on accident in the trash instead of it being gone forever & one can restore

My computer files got deleted, and then it decided to die all together, so I can't republish or update the existing link to my InDesign project. I tried on another computer but it's just not working.

  20. Ability to brand "Publish Online" docs by adding a favicon and customize the URL

I love this option for publishing professional documents online, but I NEED to be able to brand the digital experience with our logo and change the URL so it isn't indd.adobe. It's confusing/less professional for our customers.
